Abstract

A face milling cutter comprises a body (1) with holders (2) fixed to it and carrying the cutters (3), and with mechanisms for setting cutters (3) in one common plane. The milling cutter further comprises a number of mechanisms for adjusting the cutters along the plane, that number corresponding to the number of the holders (2) and each mechanism being executed as a roll (6) provided with a land (7) oriented at an angle alpha to its axis.
