Abstract

216,438. Wade, H., (Smith, G. P.). Oct. 22, 1923. Mounting and dismounting. - The spring- pressed locking-members or trunnions 23 described in Specification 204,399 are drawn together, to enable the gun to be removed from the mounting, by a longitudinally .sliding plate 31 which has inclined slots 32 for engagement with pins 25 depending from the trunnions. The slide, which is operated by handles 36, is guided in a casing 27 removably attached to the underside of the gun by guides 26 and a spring- catch 30.
