Abstract

216,265. Wilson, H. C. March 23, 1923. Tack extractors.-A hand device for extracting tacks comprises a shaft or handle 2 terminating in a curved forked end 3. To the lower end of the stem is attached a spring ejecting lever 6. In use, the tack a is positioned between the forks and extracted by a rocking movement of the handle, whereupon the ejector 6 which has been displaced, ejects the tack. In a modification a simple spring is used in place of the ejector 6, and in a further modification the ejector comprises a pivoted link actuated by depression alphathe stem against the pressure of an enclosed spring.
