Abstract

216,028. Le Guiel, J. Aug. 30, 1923. Fuel containers.- Relates to protective coverings for motor vehicle fuel tanks o the kind comprising a corrugated sheet of metal 2 embracing or partially embracing the tank 4, and consists in providing the corrugated metal sheet with a backing layer 3 of rubber or other cushioning material, and, if desired, with strengthening rods 7 in the corrugations. The covering is secured to the tank by means of straps 5 and buckles 6.
