Abstract

215,237. Girard, A. Feb. 15, 1923. Plant.-Liquid from a septic tank 15 passes through a pipe 1 and a tank 4, filled with mould on which grass or vegetables are grown. The mould rests on a. layer of stones 14 which extends over the outlet of the pipe 1. A shed is provided to prevent rain from entering the tank. The septic tank is divided into three compartments by partitions having apertures 10, 11, and gas is discharged into the atmosphere by pipes 2, 3.
