Abstract

Aqueous dispersion coating composition consisting essentially of an epoxy powder paint an water carrier wherein the water carrier has dissolved therein a water soluble nonionic surfactant in amount ranging from about 0.01 to about 10% by weight (PBW) of the dry epoxy material and a dispersion agent in an amount from about 0.01 to 10 PBW of the dry epoxy material, wherein the pigment volume concentration of the coating composition is at least 10. Also described is a method of coating formed fiber reinforced plastics, such as sheet molding compound.
