Abstract

A medicament against glaucoma containing as an effective ingredient a carbostyril derivative having an intra- ocular pressure-suppressing action and being represented by the following general formula: <IMAGE> wherein R<1> and R<2> each represent a lower alkyl group, and the carbon-to- carbon bond between the 3-and 4- positions of the carbostyril skeleton is a single or double bond.
