Abstract

The weights, designed for being mounted on working and transport mechanisms, particulary running mechanisms, for ballasting them and/or compensating the weight of accessory equipement and/or compensating a load weight, consist of iron sheet (3, 3'). These sheets may have a circular, oval or polygonal shape, particularly square, rectangular or hexagonal, or the shape of a part, preferably symmetrical with respect to the center, of a circle, an oval or a polygone divided into two or several parts. These sheets are provided with recesses and/ or projections (4, 4', 5, 5', 6, 6'; 42, 43, 44, 48, 49) for mounting attaching means (1, 2; 80; 130; 150; 170) and/or for assembling the sheets together and/or for mounting attachments (100) interconnecting the sheets and/or for connecting a traction coupling device (120).
