Laces. - The ends of boot and like laces 1, which are given a pointed form 2 by dipping them in rubber solution and rolling or folding the salution-treated portions lengthwise upon themselves before the solution has set, are afterwards vulcanized. The part of the lace intermediate. the tags may be also impregnated with solution but the ends only are vulcanized.
