Abstract

A roller bearing cage (1) is moulded in one piece from a plastics material and includes a pair of circular end rings (8), a plurality of bars (9) defining pockets (3), and peripherally projecting ribs (7) formed on each of the bars (9) at or adjacent the intersection of each outer edge of the bar with the outer surface of the end ring (8). Each of the ribs (7) is integrally formed with the remaining part of the cage and extends along an outer edge of a bar for a length less than one third of the length of the bar. The bars (9) have the same radial depth throughout their length as the circular end rings. <IMAGE>
