Abstract

An active confusor tooth (1) of a jet weaving loom has one or more supplemental jet outlets (3) whose orientation is such that the jet avoids striking the adjacent upright wall of the adjacent passive tooth (7) so as to increase jet efficiency. The jet axis (b) forms an acute angle ( beta ) with the confusor axis (4) which makes an angle ( alpha ) less than 90 DEG with the line (a) across and defining the outer limit of the outlet (3). <IMAGE>
