A windscreen wiper arm has a web portion (18) of a channel-shaped link (15), between a wiper rod (13) and a fastening member (11) underneath spring (14) and a rigid cap (30) covering the top and sides of the spring (14), the link (12) and the fastening member (11) as a protection against corrosion. <IMAGE>
