Abstract

A pneumatic tire intended for use in all seasons of the year including use in winter on snow-covered or icy roads has a tread portion comprising a plurality of blocks 3.1 and 3.1' in relief, of special configuration, arrangement and structure, each delimited by wide and deep communicating grooves 3.2, and 3.2' constituted by segments which are essentially rectilinear and non-aligned, the grooves constituting a system of multiple intersections and being parallel, or obliquely orientated in relation, to the mid-circumferential plane of the tire. <IMAGE>
