Abstract

Linings 32 in the form of tubes are applied to cut and creased blanks 30 of carton board by means of adhesive applied to the cardboard in a particular pattern to enable the lining 32 to be erected with the blank 30. Lining sleeves 32 are formed by folding a web of lining material in two and then forming a seal parallel to the fold, the so-formed tube being cut into appropriate lengths to form liners. <IMAGE>
