Abstract
S-Adenosyl-L-homocysteine and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are used in a method of treatment of the human or animal body by therapy. These compounds may be used as sedatives, to induce sleep or as anti-convulsive agents, for example in the treatment of epilepsy (petit mal). The compounds may be administered in the form of a pharmaceutical composition also comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
