Abstract
In a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a dispersion of an oil-soluble yellow colour forming coupler as a solution of the coupler in a branched chain alkyl ester of phosphoric acid represented by the following general formula (I): wherein R1, R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, each represents a branched chain alkyl group having 8 to 15 (8 to 10) carbon atoms and preferably having a low acid value; 12 of such esters are shown. Preferred two-equivalent (non- diffusible) yellow couplers are shown. The silver halide photographic light-sensitive material provides a yellow colour image having excellent light fastness and good colour density.
