Abstract

A method of packaging collagen film, e.g. in the form of sausage casings, so as to be resistant to the formation of mould, comprises packaging collagen film having a water content less than 40% by weight of the film in an atmosphere comprising at least 60% by volume gaseous carbon dioxide.
