Abstract

A vehicle seat comprises a seat back 12 pivotally mounted on a seat base 11, the seat base having lower frame members 14 each slidably mounted on an intermediate guide 17, each guide 17 being slidably mounted on a fixed guideway 16. Arms 25 interconnect the seat back 12, seat base 11 and guides 17 so that forward tilting of the seat back moves the seat as a whole forwardly along guide 17. Each member 14 is mounted on the respective guide 17 by front and rear rollers 20,24, the front roller 20 at least having mounted thereabove a bolt 21 to prevent the member 14 from lifting off the roller 20. <IMAGE>
