Intelligent Tow Pin - The invention is a tow pin normally attached to a vehicle for the purpose of coupling to a trailer or caravan. This tow pin differs from the standard or normal type in that it has an integral measuring device to indicate the downwards force onto the tow pin exerted by the equipment being towed. The measuring system is typically embedded within the body of the tow pin but in some cases could be an external attachment.
