Abstract

The device utilizes the rotating pressure field which appears in a fluid placed between a rotor 1 and a stator 2 as a result of unbalance which produces a slight displacement of the center of gravity of the rotor. The fluid pressure is exerted on a single balancing mass 4 by means of at least three pressure inlets 8 each connected to a variable-volume chamber 7. The balancing mass 4 is carried by the rotor 1 and is urged to a central position by spring(s) 5. <IMAGE>
