Abstract

In a distributor for particulate material, means 26, 28 are provided for positively feeding the particulate material at a predetermined rate to a spinner 18 by means of which it is distributed over the ground. The position of the feed means relative to the spinner is adjustable to enable the user to obtain the optimum spread pattern and the feed means is driven from ground wheels 14 in such manner that as soon as the distributor vehicle comes to a halt, the feed means drive is discontinued. <IMAGE>
