Abstract
An interdigital transducer for use in a surface acoustic wave device comprising three electrodes (A, B and C) whose fingers (1) are arranged so that a unidirectional fundamental frequency acoustic wave is propagated when two exciting signals substantially in quadrature are respectively applied between two electrodes (A and B) and the third electrode (C). <IMAGE>
