Abstract

A rotatable coupling for a multicore cable 13 comprises a female part 1 having a male part 2 mounted rotatably therein, the female part having a holding cage 14 which defines a space 20 in which a centre contact 4 on part 2 contacts a contact 7 and a space 21 in which a spring contact 6 contacts a slip ring 5 on part 2, and a cup-shaped cover 8 which surrounds at least a part of the holding cage 14 and retains the contacts 6, 7. <IMAGE>
