Abstract
The pump (1) comprises an injection timer (2) operable against spring bias by a rotational-speed proportional pressure delivered by the fuel feed pump, a regulator (3) and a pressure medium line (23) connected in dependence on engine speed and load, by the regulator 3 to a chamber (20) of the pump developing the speed proportional pressure. According to the invention, the line (23) is connected to a pressure admission chamber (22) of the timer so as to build up a pressure in opposition to the speed-proportional pressure, and the chamber (22) is connected by way of a throttle (28) to the suction side of the feed pump. By this means advancement of ignition is made speed and load dependent but without affecting pressure developed in chamber (20) of the pump. <IMAGE>
