Abstract

There is disclosed a process for the colouration of wet spun acrylic and modacrylic fibres in the gel form which comprises using a cationic dye, or its dye bases, which are substantially insoluble in water but soluble or partly soluble in organic solvents. There are also disclosed acrylic fibres so coloured.
