Abstract

Removable assembling device of an auxiliary module 22 joined side-by- side to a molded housing of an electrical apparatus 10, comprising an expansible nut inserted into a tubular fastening rivet 16 which secures together units 12, 14 of apparatus 10. The nut is axially slit and includes barbs which are urged radially against the inner wall of the rivet 16 when the associated screw 24 is driven in said nut. Nut has square head 38 receivable in square recess 30 of module 22. Nut may be omitted and the screw 24 self-tapped directly into the rivet 16. Modules 12, 14 are circuit breakers riveted together at manufacture. Module 22 is added e.g. by a user and may be a fault or position indicating contact unit, or a current emission coil. <IMAGE>
