Abstract

A handling and/or storage case comprises at least one hinged flap 4 forming an upper portion of a lateral wall, which flap 4 is attached to a fixed portion 2 of the case by cranked hinges 7, pivotally mounted above the fixed portion 2 of said wall. Each hinge preferably includes a pair of spaced, parallel, hinge pins, one engaging the flap 4, the other engaging a fixed portion of the case. On raising the flap 4, projections 8 may be dropped into openings 9 to retain the flap 4 in the raised position. <IMAGE>
