Abstract

This invention relates to accommodation units. The drawing shows an accommodation unit comprising a box shaped metal housing having corner posts (10) side walls (11) floor and ceiling panels, an end panel (32) with a doorway (33) and an end panel with a window unit (29). The outer faces of the side walls (11) have vertically extending parallel T-section ribs (17) thereon which are embedded in concrete cast between adjacent side walls of two such units to provide a reinforced wall. The unit may incorporate a separate service module 71, Fig. 10 secured to one end. Fig. 9 shows a unit collapsed for transportation. <IMAGE>
