Abstract

In a rotatable screen, intended more especially for the production of asbestos-cement sheets and having a multi-start supporting helix (12, 13) and axially spaced frame rings (10) which are mounted on the supporting helix, there is provided a second, oppositely directed, multi-start supporting helix (14, 15). The frame rings are secured to points of intersection of the two supporting helices which are interconnected at these points. The two supporting helices preferably have equal pitches. The supporting helix points of intersection may be provided with gusset plates (11) for fastening the frame rings, with the supporting helices interrupted at these points. Longitudinal bars (8) serve to support an outer screen layer (not shown). <IMAGE>
