Abstract
A draught excluder or weatherstripping which is fire proof, fire retardant or fire resistant is disclosed. It may comprise a backing member 1, a pile material 2 upstanding from one face of the backing member and a layer of material 3 located within or on the surface of the pile material and which is fire resistant, fire retardant or fire proof, e.g. in the form of a flexible metal fin secured to the backing member. Alternatively, the pile material itself may have these properties, e.g. may be of metal or asbestos or mica. <IMAGE>
