Abstract

A skirt for air-cushion vehicles consisting of a set of units 1 delimiting between the platform of the vehicle chassis and the bearing surface a chamber in which a lifting air cushion is maintained. Each unit consists of a flexible casing, preformed and open at its base, and provided with two side openings 3. A flexible reinforcement 4 forms the structure of the said casing and allows tight juxtaposition of the said units on either side of braces 2 supported by the said chassis. A duct segment 5 passing through the brace is inserted in the said side openings 3 to form a support for the units and allow forced air feeding. <IMAGE>
