Abstract

In Fig. 1, when thyristor 20 is fired in response to a change in the input level at 1 there flows through polarised relay switching coil 16, depending on the input level at input 1, either a single current pulse of the one polarity or a single current pulse of the other polarity, 2, 30 are D-intermediate-storage flip-flops; 23, 28, 31 are Exclusive- NOR-gates; and 4, 26 are NAND gates.
