Abstract

0.01 to 2.5% by weight of boron is added to a crystalline zeolitic- containing catalyst which has been, or in use will be, contaminated by a small quantity of heavy metal(s). The catalysts may be used in the cracking of hydrocarbon oils, e.g., in the production of motor fuels.
