Abstract

The invention relates to model vehicles and provides a model vehicle which can be manually controlled to follow a selected course in a realistic manner. This is achieved by reducing the adhesion of the front wheels 2, for example, by providing a pad 8 underneath the vehicle to relieve the weight of the vehicle from the front wheels. The vehicle may be steered and driven by means of a stylus 10 engaging in cooperating means 9 on the roof of the vehicle. The stylus may also be used to initiate an auxiliary operating function by the application of additional pressure. The auxiliary function may be, for example, movement of the forks of a fork-lift truck, or the closure of electrical contacts to operate lights or other electrical devices. <IMAGE>
