Abstract

In an internally-meshing screw pump, compressor or motor a rotary outer screw member 110 cooperating with a rotary inner screw member 112 is connected to the latter by way of externally-toothed gears 115, 116 so that these members revolve synchronously without contact with each other. The gears may be interconnected through toothed belts 121, 122. Alternative arrangements of the gears and alternative interconnecting means therefor are described with reference to Figs. 1, 3 and 4 (not shown). <IMAGE>
