Abstract

The needle has a cannula A with a support B at one end which has at least one face which is flat and converges towards the cannula axis in a direction towards the tip A2 thereof. This allows the needle to be inserted and held without straining the skin. Preferably, wings 14, 16 extend from the body to be foldable but generally co-planar with the flat face. <IMAGE>
