Abstract

A rub down dry transfer device having a backing sheet (1) to which is attached in a removable fashion, strips of transparent material (2). Each single strip bears a plurality identical dry transfer symbols or characters. The symbols or characters are on the outwardly facing surfaces of the strips (2) with respect to the backing sheet (1) so that a rub down dry transfer of a symbol or character may be effected by placing the strips (2) against a sheet of paper for example and rubbing over the area of the symbol or character to be transferred. <IMAGE>
