Abstract

Apparatus comprising sheet material and decoration, which apparatus comprises a first sheet of material (2), a first layer of a resin (8) on an inside face of the first sheet of material (2), at least one object (12) which is held in position by the first layer of the resin (8) and which provides the apparatus with a decorative appearance, a second sheet of material (20), spacer means (4) which is positioned along at least one edge of the apparatus and between the inside face (6) of the first sheet of material (2) and an inside face of the second sheet of material (20), and closure means (22), and the apparatus being such that: (i) a void is formed between the first and second sheets of material (2, 20) and the spacer means (4); (ii) the void is a closed void; (iii) the object (12) is viewable through at least one of the first and second sheets of material (2, 20); and (iv) the void causes the viewed object (12) to have a three dimensional appearance irrespective of whether the object (12) is viewed from the front or sides of the apparatus (2).
