Abstract

A fireproof cementitious product contains fibres combined with sand and cement both not exceeding 50 mesh size (British Standard Mesh) and a small proportion of a composition of water with a foam-forming substance to provide an aerated cementitious product. The fibres may be glass, plastics or carbon. The cementitious product may be used as a coating on fire doors or on ship hulls.
