Abstract

An endless conveyor belt having a continuous slot H which may be opened and closed receives seeds from a dispensing wheel and carries them to a location close to the ground where it is driven at a speed equal to and in the opposite direction to the ground speed of the drill and drops the seeds with an impact velocity which is chiefly the product of gravity, and at an impact angle of about 90 DEG . <IMAGE>
