Abstract

The meter is for use with big objects, such as automobile bodies (4), located externally of the meter. The meter is provided with a plurality of filters (6) of respectively different powers mounted to be inserted each individually between a light source (1) and the test specimen, the light reflected from the test specimen being received by a ring-shaped receptor (5) capable of measuring colour differences. Condensers (2, 3) are located in the illuminating path. <IMAGE>
