Abstract

Driving and attachment means for a block-type fuel injection pump 2 are coupled to the driving shaft 4 of an internal combustion engine 1 by a pump coupling 5 and shaft 6 which drives the fuel injection pump 2 and also serves as one support therefor. A second fuel injection pump 3 may be driven via a second coupling 5 and shaft 6 connected between the two pumps. The invention may also be applied to drives other than that for a fuel injection pump. <IMAGE>
