Abstract

A glass-washer comprising a brush compartment 22 and a rising compartment 24 has in the brush compartment brushes which are driven by a flat plate electric motor 32 mounted on a side wall of the brush compartment. The motor comprises a stator with windings embedded in epoxy resin sealed by a metal partition from the rotor 34 in rotor housing 36. The drive from the rotor to the brush holders is transmitted through a gear train which is readily removable from the brush compartment. <IMAGE>
