Abstract

The invention relates to compensating the point of discontinuity between two axially-aligned adjoining rectangular waveguides (1, 2) which are rotationally offset about their common axis. The compensation is effected by a plate (3) arranged between the waveguides which plate has an aperture therethrough which corresponds substantially to the common adjoining cross-section of the waveguides (1, 2) but has two projections (6, 7) which extend symmetrically of the bisector of an angle ( alpha ) formed between the shorter cross-sectional axes of the waveguides. <IMAGE>
