Abstract

A device 1 for transporting clothes comprises a hanger body 10 with a triangular component 12 for supporting a garment with shoulders. The body 10 has a rear face 13, an opposing front face 14 and a recess 15 suitable for containing folded trousers. A strap 16 or hook may be provided so that the device may be hung on a rail. A flat trouser former 20 may be provided, around which trousers may be folded before being placed the recess 15. A second flat formed may also be provided, around which a lower part of the garment below the shoulders may be wrapped. A bag or case may be provided to receive the device, which may be made of foam or plastics, or may be an inflatable product. Cushion pads 18a, 18b may be provided at the shoulder area to support the shoulders of a garment. The device provides a means of transporting garments without creasing them.
