Abstract

A support apparatus 1a, 1b, 1c for use during plyometric exercise comprises a resilient body section having a base, an upper support surface 4, side walls and is configured to define a platform for a person to jump on and off. Fastening elements 16 are located on the side walls, and are arranged to connect to connection members 14 of a further support apparatus stacked at one of above or below, with the connection means able to be stowed away when not secured to a further apparatus. The body section may have a flexible outer cover and be formed of a central foam core surrounded by a denser outer layer of foam. Connection members may be flexible straps secured at one end to the support, preferably using a hook and loop fastening material, with straps potentially hinged proximate the lower wall edge. There may be second fastening members 20 on the base of the body to aid in stowing the connection members.
