Abstract

In strippable, coverless diffusion transfer photographic sheet materials, the stripping layer and photosensitive layer are separated from the receiver portion by being washed therefrom after diffusion of an image from the photosensitive layer to the receiver portion has occurred. In accordance with the invention this separating step is achieved by rolling the photographic sheet between a pair of hard smooth rollers.
