Abstract

A tow bar assembly 10 for mounting on a vehicle includes a swan neck tow ball member 12 comprising a tow ball part 14, a neck part 16 and a mounting part 18, the assembly 10 including a mounting 20 for mounting the tow ball member 12 to the vehicle, wherein the mounting 20 has a pair of intermediate brackets 82 with a plurality of fixing holes 36,38 arranged to permit adjustment of the height of the tow ball member 12 relative to the vehicle. The intermediate brackets 82 can be reversed to adjust the horizontal position of the ball member 12.
