Abstract

A slider has a body of which at least the surfaces of the usual flanges, wedge and side walls defining the conventional Y-shaped channel are of ceramic material. The slider may be made either wholly of ceramic material or as a core having a surface coating of ceramic material. The ceramic material may be impregnated with colouring material and provided with a surface coating such as a glazed finish. <IMAGE>
