Abstract
A method of combating soil insects in a soil locus, particularly of combating corn root worm larvae in maize cultures, comprises applying to the soil locus an insecticidally effective amount of a compound of formula I, <IMAGE> wherein R is C2-4alkyl, preferably ethyl or isopropyl, particularly iso-propyl, the compound of formula I preferably being applied in the form of a granulate preparation or in the form of a soil drench.
